Park, MD – Just in time to celebrate the spookiest holiday of them all, Looney Labs is proud to announce the arrival of Zombie Fluxx! Fluxx, a card game in which the rules for how you play change from one turn to the next, is the perfect vehicle for a game about battling Zombies.
In Zombie Fluxx, players are able to explore the darker side of Fluxx with a new card-type called the Creeper. Creepers hang around in front of you, preventing you from winning, until you can do something to get rid of them. The good news is that the deck includes a Shotgun and a Chainsaw and various other cards you can use as weapons against the Zombies. Plus, you've got Sandwiches and Coffee and a couple of Friends to help you win. The bad news is, if your friends become zombies, you’ll have to destroy them. Zombie Fluxx will be available in specialty stores everywhere starting October 10th, at a suggested retail price of $16.00.
In 1999, Fluxx won a prestigious Mensa Select award as one of the five best games of the year. 350,000 copies and eight years later, Fluxx is still one of the most popular card games in the hobby market today. A game for 2-6 players, Fluxx begins with one basic rule: Draw one card, play one card. As cards are played, new rules change the number of cards played, drawn, or even how many cards can be left in your hand at the end of your turn! Fluxx is a great game for groups of mixed ages, as kids and adults alike can play each other and remain competitive. Fluxx is available in English, German, Japanese and Spanish editions, as well as spin-off versions Family Fluxx, Eco Fluxx, and the brand-new Zombie Fluxx. Christian Fluxx and Jewish Fluxx expansions work with the original version, plus Fluxx Blanxx card packs are available, allowing players to customize any version of the game with their own personal cards.
