I've been playing Looney games for some time now. I got hooked first on Fluxx when it was being distributed by Iron Crown Enterprises at Gen Con in 1998. The next year, I looked for that game again and found that the Looneys had set up their own booth. Bravo for them!!

For my real life, I worked in the educational arena (yeah, think "Gladiator" and you've got the right arena) for 20 years. I did everything from teaching in a 1-room schoolhouse (K-4) to teaching AP Chemistry in a Chicagoland high school. I subbed for at least 7 of those years, and spent 2 years as a sign language interpreter for a deaf student in Minnesota.

Some of you know me by my recent job of working full time for Looney Labs in their sales and support departments. Among the many hats I wore were: Sales Representative, Distributor Liaison, Event Coordinator, Fan Liaison, and Educational Outreach Coordinator. It was a great job, and I did it for too short of a time - but the reorganization that is causing my job to be eliminated is totally for the best! I'm going to miss working so closely with all the Looneys (especially Alison!!) but I totally support the decisions behind it all.

My most visible contribution to Looney Labs games has been the Looney Academy. Having a place for the educational content related to these great games has been a dream of many people for a long time - and I'm proud to have been a part of that.

I'm left handed, play guitar, walk labyrinths, do crafts and pull the dandilions from my yard when there is more yellow than green. In the game industry, I've (a)started a convention, (b)been a demo person for various companies (c) worked cons for lots of different companies (d) started and closed my own game company and (e)worked full time for an established game company... and through all of that I've often needed to be reminded to actually have fun and play!

So, that's what I'm going to do next. I'm going to take some classes, do some writing, and see where that all leads me. And I actually might get to play a game or two, now and again...
